Kathryn Georgia Gunderson, late of Chilliwack, B.C. passed away February 12, 2007 at the age of 90. She was born in Lakemills, Iowa, USA on January 8, 1917.
Kathryn was a certified reflexologist and a charter herbalist. Her hobbies and passion was everything related on the topics of health. She will be missed for her compassion, wisdom, generosity and her sense of humor. She had her door and heart open to everyone. She was an extraordinary lady. Aunty Kay, you finally have what you wished for, now you can rest.
A Memorial Tea will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Odd Fellow’s Hall. Cremation, Henderson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium. She will be laid to rest Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in the Hatzic Cemetery.
She is survived by a brother, Peter AAdland of Chisago City, Minnesota; sister, Florence Johnstone of Minneapolis, Minnesota; special niece, Rita Meeker; also numerous other nieces and nephews throughout Canada and the USA; and 3 brothers-in-law, Sonny, Lloyd and Bill Gunderson.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alvin, in 1981 and by two sons in infancy.
