Klassen, Katie passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord on August 11, 2006 at the age of 81 years. She was predeceased by her husband; John, brothers; John and Jake and sister; Helen. Katie is survived by her children; Ken (Vi), Ervin (Kathi), Marilyn (Dave Doerksen) and Adeline (Alex Klassen), grandchildren; Dale (Teresa), Heather (Billy), Joel, Larissa (Jeff), Kim (Mark), Sherinne, Shawn, Rachel, Jason and Ian as well as 5 great grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends.
A visitation for Katie will be held on Friday, August 18, 2006 at 7-9 p.m. from Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford, BC. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. from Chilliwack Mountain Cemetery, 10010 Hillcrest Dr., Chilliwack, BC followed by a Memorial service at 11:00 a.m. from Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Avenue, Chilliwack, BC.
