Born and raised in New Westminster, Katherine was a proud descendant of the Nisbet Clan. The “Keeper of Memories”, Kathy bonded the generations with precious family recipes and tales of their Barnston Island roots. Happy years were spent camping and boating, alongside Richard. They ensured their four children developed adventurous and independent spirits. Kathy enjoyed many years kicking up her pink petticoats Square Dancing and met her cherished partner, Jerry Cooper, who was a steadfast support to Kathy for many years.
Kathy is survived by her children, Linda, Brian, Geoffrey and Lawrence; her seven grandchildren, Kathy, Lawrence, Lee, Scott, Shannon, Selena and Brant as well as her eight great grandchildren.
