Katharine Baerg went to be with her Lord on July 12, 2011. She was born on November 15, 1928 in Provost, AB.
Kay was known for her strong faith, her gentle spirit, her love for her family and her generous hospitality. Everyone was welcomed and cared for around her dinner table.
Kay is lovingly remembered by her family: husband of 62 years, George; son – Randy (Cyndy) Baerg; daughters – Lynn (John) Higginson, Pat Baerg, Brenda (Matt) Thompson; sisters – Evelyn Klassen, Frieda (Frank) Ediger; sister-in-law Irene Warkentin; grandchildren – Geoff Higginson; Greg Higginson; Debbie (Gary) Dormer, Stephanie Baerg, Kayanne Thompson and many other family members.
A Memorial will be held at the Eden Mennonite Church, 46551 Chilliwack Central Road, Chilliwack, BC at 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 16, 2011.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society.
