January 28, 1945 - July 7, 2018
It is with a broken heart that I announce the passing of Karen on July 7th, 2018 at the Abbotsford Hospital. Karen is survived by her husband, Peter Nikkel. She was predeceased by her daughter, Krista, her parents Effie and John Kiley, her brothers King and Patrick Kiley, and brothers in law, Lorne Monaghan and Edward Nikkel and niece Stephanie Dyck.
Karen leaves to mourn her passing, husband Peter, sister Colleen Monaghan, sisters in law Patsy Kiley and Patricia Kiley. Also Abe and Dawn Nikkel, Henry and Jody Nikkel, Helen and Harry Thiessen, Mary and Alvin Dyck, Jessie and Frank Unger, as well as all her nieces and nephews.
Karen made many friends all over Canada during her life at all the different places she and her husband were stationed at during his career. Karen was a very talented person and volunteered at numerous places during her life. She will be greatly missed by many people.
