Judy Hoppe passed away on June 4, 2011 at the age of 59. After a six-month battle with cancer, her life ended peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Judy was the oldest child to William and Edith Veer of Chilliwack.
She is survived by her husband and best friend of over 40 years, Frank Gerald Hoppe; her three children, Frank William (Marnie), David (Karen) and Joanne (Garth) Hewitt; her grandsons: Michael Hoppe, Jamie Hoppe and Aiden Hewitt, Kyle Hewitt, Dylan Hewitt and Delton Hewitt. Judy also leaves her mother, Edith Veer; brother, Terry (Carol) Veer; sisters, Jacqueline Meints and Glenda (Kevin) Campbell and her closest and dearest friend, Judy Simpson.
She was predeceased by her father Bill Veer in 2009. The family wishes to thank all their family and friends, who supported them through this tough time, and a special thanks to Judy’s sisters in law, Carol Falk and Jane Epp. Special thanks also to the caring and compassionate Nurses in the Palliative Care Unit at Abbotsford Hospital and at Cascade Hospice, who made her final days as comfortable as possible.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 1:30 pm at Broadway Church, 46611 Maple Ave. Chilliwack
