Judy peacefully passed away surrounded by family, on September 17, 2018 at Valleyhaven Care Home, at the age of 68. She was born June 8, 1950 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Judy was born in Winnipeg. She moved to Chilliwack in her early life where she met and married Walt. They worked hard on their dairy farm in Sumas Prairie for many years and raised two beautiful children before retiring to Majuba Hill in Yarrow. Judy enjoyed shopping, bingo, bargain hunting, cooking and many various crafts. It's with bitter sweet sadness we had to let mom go after a long struggle with many chronic health conditions.
Judy is survived by her loving husband Walter of 47 years, son Dan(Suzann); daughter Lisa (John) McCarrick, grandchildren Marshall, Kara, Kyle, Kaitlyn and Megan; as well as her great grandchild, Sawyer and many other extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Frances and Bernice, sisters Debbie and Donna; brothers-in-law, Henry, Andy and Dick; sister-in-law, Anne and in-laws Henry and Katie.
Special thanks to Dr. Fitzpatrick and Fran as well as all the staff at CGH and the nurses and support staff at Valleyhaven Care Home. A special mention to the resident cat Mia.
A memorial will be held to October 4, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Henderson's Funeral Home on Victoria Ave., Chilliwack.
