Joyce passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Chilliwack General Hospital. Joyce was born at home in Viking, Alberta on December 24, 1924.
She is survived by her step-son, Russell (Joy) of Burnaby; sons, Robert (Barb) of Agassiz, Art (Connie) of Enderby, Don (Gail) of Walhachin and daughter, Evelyn (Allan) of Chilliwack; sisters, Mary (Bob) and Jean (who just lost her husband Earl a week before); and many loving family members and friends. She was predeceased by her son Tony, stepson Tom, grandson David, and her loving husband Earle, as well as her two brothers, Charlie and Lyman.
Thanks to the great nurses on 3rd floor ICU, and emergency, for taking such good care of Mom.
A Celebration of Joyce’s life will be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Ave on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 10:00 am
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in her name, to a charity of your choice, Heart and Stroke and the Diabetes Foundation.
