Joseph Napoleon (Paul) L’HIRONDELLE

Joseph Napoleon (Paul) L’Hirondelle late of Chilliwack, B.C., formerly of Spruce Grove, Alberta, passed away in Chilliwack on January 28th, 2005 at the age of 77 years. He was born March 5th, 1927 in St. Albert, Alberta and had lived in this area for 57 years.

He worked for a short time in Yellowknife before coming to B.C., and then worked for B.C. Hydro for 36 years before retiring in 1984. He married Myrtle Salter on August 24th, 1968. He was a member of Glad Tidings Fellowship and was involved in Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, and was an avid gardener.

He is survived by his loving wife, Myrtle, two step-daughters: Carol Salter of Nova Scotia, Rose and Lenny Patterson of Grand Prairie, Alberta; one brother and six sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Delina L’Hirondelle; one brother, Ernie, and step-daughter, Peggy Dargatz.

A Memorial Service will be held February 7, 2005 at 11 am at Glad Tidings Fellowship, 46641 Chilliwack Central Road, Chilliwack. Pastor Lorne Lueck officiating. Cremation to take place at Valley Crematorium, Chilliwack.
