We sadly announce the passing of our husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, great grandpa and most truest friend, Joseph Gerard Richard, at the Chilliwack General Hospital, July 9, 2007, age 62.
Joey was born in Howlan, PEI on January 11, 1945.
Predeceased by parents Gerard and Obe Richard, and leaving in sorrow his wife:Maxine; daughters: Shelley Oglive and Natalie (Bill) Ritchie; two sons: Todd (Sylvia) and Joaquin, stepson: Wayne (Mindy) Halliday; stepson: Shane (Donna); stepdaughter: Heather (Randy); 12 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, two sisters: Rose Marie, Olive Marie; one brother: William (Maggie); many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Joey’s Life will be held at the Chilliwack Arts Center, 45899 Henderson Ave. Chilliwack, BC., on Wednesday, July 18 at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Rick Bryson officiating.
If family and friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
