John Siemens, late of Chilliwack, passed away into the presence of his Saviour on December 26, 2002 at the age of 82. He was born February 27, 1920 in Shonau, Ukraine.
John is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Helen; his three daughters, Inge, Rose-Mary, and Linda; and his two grandchildren, Alexander and Kathrine.
Funeral services are being held at Eden Mennonite Church on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002 at 1 p.m. Pastor Werner Froese will be officiating. The interment will be at the Little Mountain Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of Heritage Village for their constant devotion to John during his five years there. Should family and friends so desire, donations in John’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
