In Loving Memory of John Paul Lunzman, born August 1st 1921.

John Paul Lunzman passed away at 87 years at Coquihalla – Gillis House on September 20th 2008. He was predeceased by his wife Georgina Rose in 1996.

John was born in Minnesota USA. His father Frank and mother Christina were parents to twelve children. A war Veteran, he served his country from 1940 to 1945 at which time he met his living wife of 52 wonderful years.

After World War II he relocated to Canada, became a Canadian Citizen, and had two boys Paul and Chester. Both born and raised in Chilliwack, B.C. He supported his family by working at C.F.B. His love of fishing, hunting and camping has left an impression that will last generations.

Finally in 1963, James Victor completed the family. Taking the young boy into his life and making him feel welcomed and loved; something that both Johnny and Georgina were good at.

John was above all else a kind, gentle but strong man who loved his family until the day he passed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
