NELMES; John Alexander
January 7, 1948 - July 11, 2016
John passed away at Chilliwack General Hospital on July 11, 2016. Predeceased by his parents, John & Mildred Nelmes and nephew, Jason Ouellet. John is survived by his brother, Robert (Marlene), sisters Patricia (Greg) Ouellet, Bonnie (Murray) Barber, Barbara (Ken) and numerous nieces and nephews. Although he endured many obstacles and struggles in his life, John always maintained his sense of humour. His greatest passions in life were his music, family, friends and his Christian faith. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mary & Jim Vink and family for their caring and support to John over the past several years.
A Celebration of Life will be held July 22, 2016 at Henderson's Funeral Home (Chilliwack) at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
