It is with great sadness that we announce John Michael Purvis passed away peacefully on Dec. 7, 2012 at Chilliwack General Hospital.
John was born in England but soon made Canada his home and proudly served this nation for 23 years. A retired sergeant of the Canadian Armed Forces, John was a true soldier and fighter through to the end.
John is lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Gladys; his five children and six grandchildren.
