John Kirk Wyness passed to rest peacefully on February 25, 2011 at Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 85 years. Born in Leochel Cushnie, Scotland, John came to Canada in 1948. He served for 25 years in the Armed Forces.
John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Eleanor; children, Pamela (Gord) Leslie, Ian (Pat), Heather Crawford and William (Karen); grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandson, as well as many relatives in Scotland.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 3, 2011 in the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave. Chilliwack, BC
