John Richard Johnstone late of Chilliwack, passed away November 25, 2002 at the age of 75 years. He was born February 23, 1927 in Manitoba. John was a retired custodian from School District #33. Service of Remembrance will be held at the chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Wayne Wattman officiating. Cremation, Valley Crematorium, Chilliwack. John is survived by his loving wife, June; children, Richard, Rae, Jay, and Tracy; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; seven brothers; and one sister. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Eva Johnston. Should family and friends so desire, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. and Yukon, or the Lung Association.
