John (Jack) Hnatiw passed away on Friday, Aug. 8, 2003 at Chilliwack General Hospital, at age 78 years. He was born May 23, 1925 in Rosthern, Sask.
Jack is survived by his wife Anna; his sons, James (Elizabeth), and Daniel (Robbin); his daughter Bonnie (Gabriel); his stepson Raymond (Lorraine); and his step-daughter Shirley (Les); his grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Luvena, Jana, Paul, Chelsey, Dylan, Jayson, Charisse, Holly, Ryan, and Michelle; his great-grandson Brett; and his sister Pauline.
He was predeceased by his first wife Marjory; and his brother Michael.
A memorial service was held on Monday, Aug. 11, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mr. William Saunders officiating. Cremation to follow.
Jack was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather whose great love was for his family and his faith. He was renowned for his generosity and hospitality. He will be dearly missed by all.
