John "Jack" Alistair NAIRN

February 10, 2009

Jack Nairn passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 10th, 2009 at Oakside Manor in Enderby, BC. He is now at peace with the Lord where he has no more pain.

Jack was predeceased by his father and mother in Scotland and by his son, Alan, in Vancouver. He is survived by his loving wife Yvonne, Salmon Arm; daughter Elizabeth, (Ken); grandchildren Chase, Zoe, Kenneth and Olivia all of Chetwynd; sister Dallas and brother Henry, both of Scotland, also by his friends Jim and Christine Nickles, Salmon Arm and their three children, Lucas, Holly and Marcus all of whom called him “Grandpa Jack”.

Jack spent much of his time working with the oil rigs and seismic in Northern Alberta and Montana; he and his friend Chuck Telford owned a ranch at Grande Prairie. His friend Ron Fairworn will miss Jack also. Jack and Yvonne moved to Salmon Arm from Agassiz in 2004 and I know he will be missed by friends both there and Chilliwack.

Jack was not only the love of my life but my best friend too and I will love and miss him forever. Go in peace Jack, with all my love, Yvonne.

Cremation, no service by request.
