Passed away in Cascade Hospice September 4, 2021. Jack was born June 19, 1933 in beautiful Jasper, Alberta. He worked for the CNR as a conductor for 39 years, retiring in Chilliwack. Jack was an avid gardener and was able to grow anything and everything on their 5 acres in the Chilliwack River Valley.
As a member of the Anavets, he volunteered for and ran the Meat Draw Committee for over 20 years. He loved to tell jokes and tease members when he was on the mic.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Terry, daughters, Laurie, Dianne, Sherrie, Twila and son, Jay; sons-in-law, Glenn, Keith, and Len, daughter-in-law Stacy; grandchildren, Kenny, Michelle, Jailene, Jack, Dale, Laura, Eduardo, Jessie, Jason and Colin, and 5 great grandchildren.
Also survived by brother Doug, and many nieces & nephews. Over the years, Jack made many friends and close comrades who will miss his laughter and quick wit.
He was predeceased by son Norman in 1974, brother Chief, and sister Phylis.
