Johann Thiessen passed away in Chilliwack on July 9, 2004 at the age of 77. He was born in Felsenbach, Ukraine on December 3, 1928.
He is survived by his former wife, Maria Thiessen, of Princeton, two sons; Ernst of Richmond and Peter (Sisca) of Chilliwack, two daughters, Angelika (David) Riley of Princeton, and Tina Maria Thiessen of Richmond; and one granddaughter Junita.
He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Mr. Thiessen farmed in the Chilliwack area by the Vedder River for a number of years.
A graveside service was held Saturday, July 17, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Vedder View Garden Cemetery
