‘Fred’
Fred passed away on March 12th, 2009 at Chilliwack BC, at the age of 80 years. He was born on February 5th, 1929 in Austria.
Fred is survived by son Gottfried Jr, of Ottawa Ontario, step-children Bob (Kim) Stevens of Ottawa Ontario, Brigitte Canfield of Chilliwack, grandchildren Jasmine Machell, Donald, Amanda, Suzanne, Ashley, Kiersten, James, Rose, great-grandchildren Madison, Ryan & Hailey, and first wife Erica Sailer. He was predeceased by wife Elizabeth Sailer.
Fred was a retired professional Engineer working for A.B.B. he travelled and worked all over the world. He loved to golf, and was a longtime member of Maple Leaf Amrausch German Canadian Club and the IOF Forestors.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday March 13th 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Vedder View Gardens Cemetery, 44675 Watson Road in Chilliwack, British Columbia.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
