Joe passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 15, 2011.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rita, five children: Guy, Michael, Lynne (Warren), Gerry (Fatima) and Trish (Gary).
Many of his grandchildren: Lisa, Santania, Shae, Will, Lindsay, Brett, Jennifer, Sara and Chantel, along with his great-grandchildren Brody, Ty and Chase, will carry with them great memories of BBQ chicken, fudgesicles and wonderful times in his back yard.
His sisters Judy (Allen), Sophie (Orrie-deceased), and brother Wally (deceased), along with many nieces, nephews and other family and friends will also remember and miss Joe.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Bale and his staff in Abbotsford, the wonderful staff at Chilliwack Hospital and the caring and compassionate caregivers at Cascade Hospice. Our gratitude is immense.
A celebration of life for Joe’s family and friends will be held on January 14th at 2:00 pm (at the home of Lynne and Warren Dueck) 303- 13251 Princess St., Richmond, BC, V7E 3S1.
