April 1, 1961 – December 11, 2021
Joanne was born April 1, 1962 in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland, she passed December 11, 2021 in Abbotsford, BC.
She is predeceased by her mother Anne, father Bill & niece Lauralee.

Joanne leaves behind Kristen & Ben Alleckna (Brigham & Beckham), Torin & Michelle Smith (Remy & Quinn), Hazel Hansen (Julianne, Derek & Erik), Paula & Henry Van De Wetering
(Brad & Dale), Rosemary & Brian Stevenson (Anne Marie, Lindsay).
Joanne immigrated with her family from Ireland to Canada in the 1970’s. She forged a life full of adventure from adapting to a new life with her parents and siblings to starting her own family to building a fashion boutique to later becoming a mortgage broker and then a realtor.
We will remember Joanne and her inner light fondly.
Joanne’s memorial will be at 1pm on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave, Chilliwack.
