It is with profound sadness that the family of Jo-Anne Terrio - Haynes announces her passing after losing her battle with cancer on June 14, 2025.
Jo-Anne was a very caring and giving person that worked in a career as a psych nurse. In her retirement years she enjoyed her friends and volunteering her time and energy with the Social Committee and devoting many hours sitting on the Board of the Evergreens at Ensley. She is famous for her love of quilting and happy to give someone a quilt if they expressed a desire to have it, which is a testimonial of her giving nature. Visiting Jo-Anne was always a delight, and everyone enjoyed her delicious baked goods. Family and friends will truly miss her and her kind and loving ways.
She was predeceased by her parents, Richard & Cecile Smith, her brother Peter and her son Scott. Jo-Anne is survived by her husband Bill Haynes, son Neal and his wife Michelle, grandchildren Ryan and Mia, daughter Sandra and husband Trevor. Also survived by stepchildren Kerry and his children Isaac and Jesse, Lindsay and her husband Dan and their children Sadie and Atticus.
