Jesse Donald “Lorne” Zenert was born to Jack and Violet Zenert Aug. 9, 1939 in Drake, SK. and passed away peacefully March 9, 2008.
Lorne is survived by: his wife Esther (Bjorklund); three daughters: Sherry (Dwight) Weber of Guernsey, SK and children Dane (Claire), sons Elijah and Jack of Watrous, SK, Casadi (Brad Schroeder) of Princeton, New Jersey, Nevon of Lloydminster, AB, Drew of Guernsey, SK, and Dynel of Guernsey SK; Wendy Coleman and sons Del and Adam of Chilliwack, BC; and Laureen (Mark) Freayh and children Brandon, Janeil, Rylea, and Kale of Kelowna, BC. His siblings Donna (Roy) Loos, Earl (Joan) Zenert, Doreen Zenert, Lil (Louis) Woodrich, Charolette (Barry) Eidness, Velda (Ron) Daelick, Valorie Klien, and Pat (Wilf) Horn. His in-laws Tommy Siddle, Ivan (Grace) Bjorklund, Melvin (Joyce) Bjorklund, Clifford (Vivian) Bjorklund, Lorna (Bill) Brown, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lorne is predeceased by his parents Jack and Violet Zenert; brother: Jackie; sister: Betty; and in-laws Birger and Elizabeth Bjorklund; sister-in-law Ruth Siddle; and infant brother, Richard.
The funeral will take place Friday March 14, 2008, 2:00 PM, at Glad Tidings Fellowship, 46641 Chilliwack Central Road, Chilliwack BC. Lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers the family would like any donations sent to 100 Huntley Street in memory of Lorne.
