Jenny Evelyn Abbott passed away peacefully with her family at her side on June 28, 2006 at the age of 85 years.
She was born in Stepney, London England, on the 7th day of May 1921. Jenny came to Canada in 1944 with her husband Robin to live with family in Chilliwack.
Jenny was predeceased by her husband in 2003 and is survived by her children, Lesley (Keith) Hodsall, Valerie (Alan) Edwards, Paul (Sandra) Clark; her grandchildren, Jason (Jo) Edwards, Cheryl Keet, David (Kylie) Edwards, Suzanne Mathieu, Michael (Lisa) Edwards, Stephen Edwards, Daniel Clark, Laura Clark, Amy Clark; and great grandchildren, Joseph, Katie, Emily, Ellisha, Olivia, Cloe, Hollie, Poppy and Louis.
Jenny’s family would like to acknowledge the kindness, support and compassion of the staff at Parkholm Place (the NetCare Program) and the caregivers who attended Jenny at her home.
A service of celebration of Jenny’s life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, July 7th, 2006 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8871 School Street, Chilliwack, B.C.
