Bahnman Jeanne Vesta (nee: Cummins)
Jeannie left us on Sunday morning to join her beloved husband, Arthur; her dear sons, Rob and Brent and many other family members. Just as she had lived her life, she departed with a quiet grace. Jeanne leaves behind a daughter, Karonne (Dale); son Mark (Maureen); 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, May, Evelyn (Rick); Myrt (Ralph) and many nieces and nephews.
Jeanne was born and raised in Chilliwack. She joined the Air Force and after the war married Art, who served in the Army. They had four children and lived in the Vancouver and Fraser Valley area. After Art's retirement they moved back to Cultus Lake and Chilliwack. Jeannie's last 8-1/2 years were spent at the Bradley Centre where the caring staff provided a comfortable home for her. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the loving folks who surrounded mom during these years. A celebration of life will be held at Cultus Lake Golf Club on Thursday, Nov. 28 at 1:30.
