Jean Margaret Hawke (nee McInnis) passed away peacefully at The Gateby on Sept. 28, 2003 at the age of 87 years.
Jean was a resident of Vernon Since March 2002, formerly of Sardis, Richmond and Vancouver, B.C., Dryden, Ontario, and Elm Creek, Manitoba, where she was born.
She was predeceased by husband Robert, Jan. 22, 2003, and daughter Susan, July 25, 1975.
She leaves to mourn her loving family: daughter Cathy (Randy) Bock of Richmond; son Jim (Gail) Hawke of Vernon; grandchildren Trevor, Colin, Jamie and Lucas; brother Happy McInnis of Thunder Bay, Ontario; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A family service and interment was held at Valleyview Memorial Gardens in Surrey, B.C. on Sept. 30, 2003.
Vernon Funeral Home were in care of arrangements.
