Jean MacKenzie LESLIE

September 6, 2007

Passed away on September 6, 2007 at Chilliwack General Hospital surrounded by her family, following a short and courageous battle with cancer. Aged 69 years, Jean was born June 1st 1938 in Motherwell, Scotland.

Jean is survived by her loving husband Ronald Hall; her sons: Allan (Kim) of Victoria, Stuart (Margaret) of Abbotsford; precious daughter, Alison (Howard) Schlamb, of Chilliwack; step-son, Shane (Lori) Hall of Surrey; step-daughter Angela (Craig) Postlethwaite of Langley; and brothers: Jim (Jean) and Frank in Scotland.

“Grandma Jean” will be especially missed by all her grandchildren: Cody, Caitlin, Curtis Schlamb, Chelsea and Scott Leslie, Emily and Brad Hall, Carly and Austin Postlethwaite and “wee” Jean Leslie.

Jean was predeceased by her parents, Jim and Janet Moffat in Scotland and her first husband Francis Leslie in 1979.

Jean worked many years at the CIBC and is well known as a realtor in Chilliwack with Fraser Cheam Realty.

Jean was an avid and accomplished golfer and will be sadly missed by all of her friends, especially at the Cultus Lake Golf Course, in particular, the “chicks with sticks”.

Special thanks to dear friend Lissette Couture. Words cannot express the gratitude and appreciation for “Big Sister” Glenda Ross during Jean’s illness and passing.
