On Jan. 31, 2008, while working near Tumbler Ridge, Jay McNaught suffered a massive stroke. He was airlifted to University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, where he passed away at 4:45 p.m. on February 1, 2008 without ever regaining consciousness.
On Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Cookies Grill, there was an opportunity for Jay’s friends to share memories and bid farewell to a very hardworking, unique man.
