1946-2003
Loving mother, wife, grandma, sister, friend, and world traveller. After an extensive battle with a rare lung disease, Jane passed away peacefully on November 21, 2003 in the loving arms of her family.
Jane is survived by her devoted husband Barry; daughter Shelley; sister Wendy; brother Steve; son-in-law Jody; granddaughter Bailey (“Chutie’’); brothers-in-law, Joe, Keith, Glenn, and Craig; and many dear relatives and friends. Born in Vancouver on March 17, 1946.
Predeceased by her parents, Wallace and Evelyne Oatway.
All who knew her are invited to a Celebration of her Life on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003 at 1 p.m. at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers, Jane’s wishes were for donations to the B.C. Transplant Society, or the SPCA.
Her strength, courage, and kindness have been an inspiration to all who knew her. We are blessed to have had her in our lives and know that she will always be watching over and guiding us.
