December 12, 1942 - December 3, 2018
Jim fell asleep with soft music, soft lights and his wife, Viola, of 53 years at his side and woke in Heaven. He was at peace and pain free.

Jim was born in Lakeview, Ontario and joined the Military Apprenticeship Program in 1959. For 20 years he served proudly in the Canadian Armed Forces both in Canada and many peace keeping missions. After retiring from the Military he worked at CFB Chilliwack as a civilian employee til it closed in 1998. This is when he got what he considered his "dream job" in the clubhouse at Kinkora Golf Course.

Jim leaves his sons, Tim McDonald and James McDonald Jr. (Barb Henderson), daughters, Suzanne Kuboniwa (Ben), Deanne McDonald (Ed Williams), 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many friends heart broken at the loss of this special man.

No service will be held now as per Jim's request.
