James Ping Soon Fong born August 10, 1928 in the Fiji Islands, died June 21, 2002 in Chilliwack. He was an ardent fisherman, retired master mechanic for B.C. Tel, and spoke four languages.
He is survived by his wife Aliti; and children, Isabelle Misek, Angie Pryde, Gwen Williams, James Fong Jr., Sarina Ui, Barry Fong, Michael Fong, Frank Fong, Jennifer Fong, Jane Fong, and Magdelene Fong; and many grandchildren. ’Gone fishing’ to a better land.
