On Tuesday, May 27 at the age of 58, James Paul passed away with his father by his side.

The first child and only son of Al and Gloria Dawson, Paul was born in Vancouver, BC and raised in several small communities around the province. He leaves behind his parents, son Dylan (Becky) and grandchildren Bae and Wren. Missing him as well are sisters Laura, Colleen and Holly and their children and grandchildren.

Undoubtedly, the biggest passion of Paul’s life was his love of music, which has, happily, been passed along to his son. Over the years, he acquired an extensive(!) collection of records and CD’s. His mobile DJ business was a natural extension of his musical interest. He was even more enthusiastic when it came to louder pursuits (hence the TWO drum kits at his house!)

Paul enjoyed the company of several close friends... you know who you are, and the family thanks you for your support of him over the years.

Goodbye... we’ll miss you and when we hear the rumbling of thunder in the skies, we’ll know it’s Paul... drumming with the angels.

An Open House will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 10223 Kent Road between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
