Jim passed away peacefully at home in Chilliwack surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jim was born in Dundonald, Fife, Scotland & immigrated to Canada in 1956 to play in the Powell River Pipe Band where he met his wife & raised his family. Jim & Maxine retired to Chilliwack in 1996.
Jim is predeceased by his son Ronnie (1986) & sister Sheila (2020). He leaves behind his wife of 58 years Maxine, son Sean (Denise), daughter Rosemary (Mohamed), grandchildren Chad (Amy), Crystal (Robert), Yasmine, Emily, Alexis, 6 great-grandsons, his sister Ruth & many other family members in Scotland & Canada. Jim made many friends along his journeys and remembered them all.
Jim will always be remembered by family & friends as "Piper Jim".
In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
