August 19, 1942 - December 3, 2018
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce that God has called home our beloved husband, Dad, grandfather. After a battle with cancer, Jim passed away Dec 3 with his wife Sharon, daughter Kim (Kenneth), son Darrin (Sheri) and 5 grandchildren at his side.

James was born Aug 19, 1942 in Cumberland, BC to James and Emma Williamson. He was raised and grew up with 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Jim went on to a career with Ministry of Forests. During his long career with Forests Jim worked in many areas on Vancouver Island and the mainland.

Jim retired after 37 years of service and then went on to work with wild fires services setting up fire camps all over the province. He was handyman for the Chilliwack district office until Aug of this year. In total Jim had 58 years of service.

James enjoyed spending time with his family. He was always helping out all his kids and grandchildren. He was most happy spending time camping, family gatherings and traveling the world.

Forever loved and deeply missed James is survived by his loving wife Sharon of 52 years, daughter Kimberly (Kenneth), son Darrin (Sheri) 5 grandchildren Gerrid, Brendan, Brianna, Dezeray, Jordan and 3 brothers, 2 sisters. He is predeceased by his 2 sons James Cecil and Brenton Michael, his parents and 3 brothers.

A celebration of life will be held on January 5, 2019 at 2 pm, Main Street Church (through rear entrance) 9345 Main Street, Chilliwack, B.C.
