Jacynth (Jackie) Pamela Arnold. May 23, 1928 - Nov. 10, 2013. Jackie was born in Ashford, Kent England on May 23, 1928. She married Les Arnold in 1945. She immigrated to Canada in 1947 as a war bride. As a military wife, Jackie moved often before settling in Chilliwack in 1963 where she was an active volunteer in the community.
She was predeceased by her husband Leslie (Pop) Arnold in 2006. She is survived by daughters, Judy (Andy), Shirley, Wendy (Claude), Leanne (Gerry); 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and her sister Astrid, in Maidstone, Kent, England. Special thanks to her friends for helping her continue to contribute to the community.
A funeral will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Chilliwack, Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Children's Hospital, Neurology or a charity of choice. "She did it her way"
