Jacqueline Eleanor Mary Toop (nee Bakx) was born in Kitimat, BC on May 22, 1956 and passed away suddenly and unexpectantly on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 in Vancouver, BC at the age of 56.
Jackie was a woman who lit up every room she entered. She made it a point to fill everyone’s day with joy, and she let every member of her family know how much she loved each of them. To say that she will be missed is an understatement; our lives without her will never be the same.
Jackie leaves behind her devoted husband of 33 years, Richard; children: Angela (David) Bennett, Devan Toop, and Sarah Toop; her grandchild: May Bennett and Richard’s parents Allan and Kay Toop. Jackie also leaves behind her mother, Ria Bakx; and her siblings: Leanna (Rob) Peters, Cliff (Rose) Bakx, Sandra Craig, and Steve Bakx, as well as many nieces and nephews and their children.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, September 28, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Broadway Church, 46611 Maple Avenue, Chilliwack, BC. Light snacks and refreshments to follow. Please wear colours as Jackie was a joyful person.
