Passed away in Chilliwack on Monday, February 9, 2004, Jacobus Van Der Knyff, at the age of 73 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Nellie; his children Christina (Peter) Kerkhoff; John (Marilyn) Van Der Knyff; Dick Van Der Knyff; 9 grandchildren; 2 sisters in the Netherlands; Rookje (Walter) Van Leeuwen; Neeltje Van Der Knyff; numerous brothers, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his infant daughter, Jeanette; his parents, a sister and 3 brothers. Family and friends may pay their respects between 7:30 -9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004 at Henderson’s Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Reformed Congregation of North America, Chilliwack. Rev. J. Roos officiating. Interment at the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
