Jacob Sawatzky, 82, of Chilliwack, BC passed away peacefully Saturday evening. Jacob loved woodworking and if you needed something custom made, he was your guy. He was always willing to lend a hand or a tool. He will always be remembered as a caring and kind Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle, Brother and Friend. Jacob was predeceased by his loving wife, Beverley. He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Wayne (Carol), and Kevin; 3 grandchildren, Christine, Nicholas and Jennifer along with their spouses; 5 great grandchildren, Shalynne, Kennedy, Keagan, Hannah and Dakota; 7 siblings and several nieces, nephews and close friends. Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 5pm at followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6pm at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Avenue, Chilliwack.
