Jake Derksen passed away suddenly on April 19th, 2010 at the Chilliwack General Hospital. Jake is survived by his loving wife Mary of 60 years. Also survived by his brother and sister-in-laws and their families as well as many friends. Predeceased by his parents (Jacob and Mary).
Jake worked for Brett’s Ltd. in Chilliwack for many years. Upon his retirement, his passion was building RV’s. He and Mary enjoyed traveling together in the RV’s, meeting many people and making new friends.
Memorial Service to be held at the Chilliwack Alliance Church, 8700 Young Road, on Monday, April 26th, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Refreshments to follow.
