Jack Nickle was born in Vancouver in 1940. He was a Canadian Forces engineer for 32 years and the CFB Chilliwack grounds supervisor for 15 years. We started in Chilliwack then moved to Germany, Sydney, Nova Scotia, Petawawa, Ontario then back to Chilliwack in 1980.
Jack loved boating, skiing, curling, and all his family and friends. Jack was predeceased by his parents Alta and John and his brothers Joe and Bus. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Lydia, his kids Jack and Dave (Janet), his grandkids Leo, Kyler, Jenna, Kai, Shea, his sister Shirly(Grant) and many nieces and nephews .
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chilliwack.
