In Loving Memory ~
Jack passed away peacefully at Chilliwack General Hospital. Jack was born in Truro, NS. He enlisted in the RCAF as a Teletype Operation in 1953.
In 1957 he married Annie Wilcox from Stewiacke, NS. They raised 2 little girls, Vicki and Cindy. The family spent several years moving across Canada, finally settling in BC.
Jack retired from the Service after 21 years and went to work at CN Railways for the next 19 years. Jack was a people person. He loved everyone and everyone loved him.
Jake will be remembered for his love of sports. He was a hockey player in his younger years. He was the catcher in baseball. He loved golfing with his buddies. In winter he curled until retirement in 1964. Then he and Annie wintered in Yuma, AZ for 28 seasons.
Jack is survived by his wife of over 68 years, Annie; his grandson Cesar, his wife Randi, and 2 great-grandsons Alex (17 years) and Levi (15 years). Jack was predeceased by his two daughters Cindy in 1995 and Vicki in 2024.
Jack's warm and kind heart will never be forgotten.
