May 9, 1934 - January 15, 2005
At Cultus Lake after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by her husband Rolf, after 21years of companionship, and her six children, Linda (Glenn), Gloria (Barry), Kenny, Darlene (Ken), Randy (Sandra), and Beverly. She also leaves behind a sister Lorraine from Vernon, nine grandchildren, Leah (Dean), Angela (Cameron), Keith, Dennis, Jason, Chelsea, Katlyn, Nicholas, and Daniel, and four great-grandsons, Jordan, Mitchell, Jaxon, and Walker, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews throughout B.C., Alberta, and Saskatchewan.
Thanks to the Palliative Care nurses and staff at Chilliwack General Hospital who cared for her during these last difficult months of her life.
Special thanks to her friend and neighbour, Fran who was always there for her, Pastor Kevin who helped ease Mom’s journey, all of the home care support workers who tended to her needs, especially Sandra Walker who really made a difference.
