Irma Helen Kiraly of Boston Bar passed away at the Fraser Canyon Hospital on April 2, 2003. She was born May 1, 1932 in Budapest, Hungary.
In 1957 she came to Canada with her husband and moved to Boston Bar in 1962. She loved to crochet and knit and enjoyed all five of her grandchildren. She particularly loved her flower garden in the spring.
She is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth (Marty) Drake of Wainwright, Alta., and Anne (Frank) Tooke of Yale; one son Tom (Kris) Kiraly of Kelowna; and grandchildren, Teddy, Ashley, Brandon, Mitchell and Courtney. Grandson Henry (Tanya); and great-grandson Mathew. Her sister Maggie who lives in Hungary also survives her.
Irma was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Tamas Bill (Tom) Kiraly on December 1, 2000.
Service for Irma Kiraly will be held on Saturday, Apr. 5, 2003 at the chapel of Henderson’s, Chilliwack, with Major Angus Haggarty officiating.
