Passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer.
Predeceased by her parents Jake and Helena Friesen and her husband Fred Barkwell.
Survived by her five children: Patricia (Norm), Lori (Joe), Austin, Fred, Rick (Holly); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, as well as her brother Don (Bonnie).
She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. A memorial tea will be held Saturday, August 25, at 11:00 am at Bradner Hall, 5305 Bradner Road, Abbotsford.
Donations can be made in her name to the BC Cancer Society or the Chilliwack Lawn Bowling Association.
