Horace Moyes passed away peacefully in Chilliwack, B.C. on March 15, 2011 at the age of 88.

Left to cherish his memory are daughters Wendy-Lou (Karl) Pfeiffer, Elaine (David) Stephens, and Jo-Anne Campone, 7 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Also, brothers Ronald (Margaret) Moyes and Gordon (Edith) Moyes, and several nieces and nephews.

Horace was predeceased by his loving wife of 41 years, Lois, parents Walter and Elizabeth Moyes, sister Vera Russell, and brother Ralph Moyes

Horace was born in Vancouver and raised in Coquitlam. At the age of 18, Dad enlisted in the RCAF and served as an aircraft mechanic with the #405 Pathfinders -- this was Canada’s first bomber squad -- from 1941 to 1944.

The family wish to give especial thanks to Verna for all her love and support to Dad and the family. Also, thank you to Dr. Markey, Dr. Hirst, and all the staff at Chilliwack General Hospital for their wonderful care.

The funeral will be held at Sardis Fellowship Baptist Church, 45187 Wells Road, Chilliwack at 11:00 a.m.   on Monday, April 11th 2011.
