December 1, 1964 - February 26, 2020
It is with tremendous sadness and the heaviest heart that we announce the loss of Holly Lynn Dobson (McGregor) who passed at Vancouver General Hospital on February 26, 2020 with her family at her side. A tragic situation related to complications with a surgery took God's daughter much too early.
Holly was born on Dec 1, 1964 to parents Kenneth and Marlene Dobson of San Jose, California. She was born and raised and spent most of her adult life in California raising two children, Nicole and Tayler, on her own. An amazing mother that poured
into her children and worked multiple jobs as a hairdresser and personal trainer while sharing the love of Jesus that was evident in her life. In 2009 she married her husband Lee and moved to BC, Canada. Holly arrived in Chilliwack in 2009 and continued her passion by founding the Fit For Change Fitness Club and helping people get fit and healthy. Holly impacted so many people with her passion through her fitness classes where she would share her life, successes and struggles as she poured herself into so many people with her amazing love. Holly was a role model for so many, a friend, mother, a sister, a daughter and a grandmother. Wherever Holly went, she drew people because of her unconditional love for them that flowed through her as a result of her relationship with Jesus.
She loved her family with all her heart. Holly is survived by her husband Lee, her two sisters (Jodie & Amber), her three brothers (Gerry, Gary & Michael), her son Tayler, her step children (Austin & Ashley) and her grandchildren (Maddison, Jaden & Chase). Holly was pre-deceased by both her parents Kenneth & Marlene and her daughter Nicole. Holly lived a passionate and happy life and was content with the simple things in life, such as; spending time with her family, pets and weekend adventures that included a buffet. :-) She always enjoyed every season and decorated her home with amazing talent to celebrate the holidays. Holly was the biggest Seattle Seahawks fan there is and wouldn't miss a game but everything paled in comparison to her love for Jesus. Holly loved Jesus with everything she had and she would always say how she can't wait to be with Jesus. Holly is now with Jesus and happier than she could ever imagine and cheering us all on as we persevere to the finish line where she will greet us with her amazing smile and a big hug!
A celebration of Holly's life will be posted on the online obits of the Progress once the COVID 19 travel concerns are over. You can also check when posted http://www.gofundme.com/f/c6rsn-help-holly
All are very welcome to attend.
Love you Holly Lynn!
