Henry was born in Stiens, Friesland, the Netherlands on September 23, 1924 and passed peacefully into the presence of our Lord at home in Chilliwack early in the morning of June 11, 2013.
He is survived by his loving wife Evelyn, of almost 61 years, 3 brothers, 1 sister, 5 sons; Jim (Sharon), John (Wendy), Gerry (Tina), Lloyd (Wendy) & Arnold (Yvonne), 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
He will be missed by his family & friends.
A Celebration Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Cornerstone Christian Reformed Church, 9800 McNaught Rd, Chilliwack.
The family wishes to thank the home support and palliative care staff for their excellent care during Dad’s illness and final days.
