Henry Everett Klop passed away peacefully and surrounded with love on August 24, 2021 at Cascades Hospice at age 56 years after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on February 12, 1965 in Chilliwack General Hospital to Eva and Hendrikus Klop.
Henry is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Heleen (nee Van den Bogert), and their four children, Henrico, Derek, Williska and Evany, who will fondly remember his passion and love for life, music, family, and his career as a Real Estate Professional. He will also be greatly missed by his mother Eva Klop and his 9 brothers and sisters.
Henry loved to give back to those less fortunate and was an active member and supporter of Rotary International, the Wheelchair Foundation, and especially close to his heart was his support of the BC Children's Hospital and the Children's Miracle Network.
Henry Klop was predeceased by his dearly beloved father, Hendrikus Klop, and his nephew who held a special place in his heart, James Hendrick Lindhout.
A special thank you to the incredible team of doctors and medical professionals who fought so hard for Henry: Dr. Paul Basson, Dr. Christine Simmons, Dr. Christian Issels, Dr. Walter Kim, and the special care given at Cascades Hospice for his last day.
Henry will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
On Saturday, August 28, 2021, a Funeral Service will be held at the R.C.N.A at 9696 Gibson Road, Chilliwack BC, at 10 am. Interment will follow at Chilliwack Cemetery.
Pall bearers will be his sons Henrico and Derek Klop, and his brothers Bill, John, Bernard, Edward and Daniel.
